Some General Information on the Naples Municipal Airport (APF)
Naples Municipal Airport operates as a general aviation airport but complies with the standards of Federal Aviation Regulations Part 139, which sets safety guidelines for airports with commercial airline service. As a certified air carrier airport, it maintains the same level of security as commercial-service airports and adheres to all Transportation Security Administrative directives. A U.S. Customs
and Border Protection facility, staffed seven days a week from 10:30 a.m. until 7p.m., saves time and fuel for pilots returning from overseas trips.
